The free shape of the pearl
Baroque pearls
The baroque is a shape, and it is the shape in which the pearl allows itself the greatest freedom: spherical at one point, elongated at another, with a surface that gathers light in flashes rather than returning it evenly.
For centuries the great jewellers have sought it for precisely this reason: because it compels design to adapt to matter, and from that encounter come pieces that exist only once.
Every MIMÍ baroque pearl is cultured, of natural colour, and chooses for itself the setting that resembles it.
