MIMI’s story began in 2000, but its roots lie in the Broggian family’s long experience in the world of gems and pearls. A wealth of knowledge built up over fifty years of activity in the sector, which today translates into direct access to the most select sources and an internationally recognized quality standard. Only 5% of the world’s cultured pearls meet MIMI’s rigorous criteria: for shape, luster, surface, color and harmony.

Each pearl chosen by MIMI tells a story of origin, rarity and perfection. Freshwater, Akoya and South Sea pearls are selected one by one, in compliance with the most advanced ethical and quality guidelines in the sector. It is no coincidence that the Broggian family has actively contributed to the development of CIBJO Blue Books, the world's most recognized reference standards for the classification of pearls and gemological materials. MIMI adheres with commitment to the principles of transparency and traceability, offering the end customer clear and complete information.

In line with this approach, each MIMI creation is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, which reports the jewel code, the date and place of purchase. For jewels containing pearls, we also provide a additional certificate which attests to the type of pearl used (Freshwater, Akoya, South Sea), with the related Technical features and the good conservation and maintenance practices: a gesture of care that reflects MIMI's commitment to the care and culture of the pearl.
